These SMS Terms apply to text messages sent by The MindCounsel, A Professional Nursing Corporation (“The MindCounsel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our messaging program provides non-marketing assistance related to inquiries you make to our practice. Messages may be sent automatically, including by our AI receptionist, or by our staff.
With your consent, we may send answers to general practice questions, links to practice information, links for checking insurance eligibility or submitting insurance information through an appropriate portal, and links for scheduling or managing appointments. We may also send administrative replies directly related to your request.
Messages are limited to the assistance you request and the scope of your consent. Requesting a link does not enroll you in promotional texts or unrelated ongoing updates. An insurance-verification link does not guarantee eligibility, coverage, payment, or an appointment.
During a phone call, our staff or AI receptionist will describe the texts and ask whether you agree to receive them at your chosen mobile number. We send texts only after you affirmatively agree. Calling us or providing your phone number alone does not enroll you in this program.
SMS consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing services or receiving care. You may decline texts and request assistance by phone or another available channel. Consent for a specific request does not authorize unrelated messages.
Message frequency varies with your requests and the replies needed to assist you. Your mobile provider’s message and data rates may apply. Contact your provider if you have questions about your messaging plan.
Provide a mobile number you own or are authorized to use. Let us know if the number changes or is reassigned. Do not provide another person’s number without their authorization.
You can withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to a message. We may send one final confirmation of your opt-out, after which this program will stop sending you messages unless you consent again. You may also contact us at contact@themindcounsel.com or call (833) 559-9559 for assistance with an opt-out request.
Reply HELP for messaging support, email contact@themindcounsel.com, or call (833) 559-9559. Replying HELP does not authorize additional promotional messages.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information used for this program: https://themindcounsel.com/privacy/. Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process information as needed to operate and deliver our messaging service.
Ordinary SMS is not a secure clinical communication channel. Do not text medical records, insurance member IDs or images of insurance cards, payment information, detailed symptoms, or other sensitive personal information. Use the appropriate patient or insurance portal for information required to schedule care or verify coverage.
The SMS program provides general and administrative assistance. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, individualized medical advice, or emergency services. Automated replies may have limitations; contact the practice when you need clarification. Do not rely on this program for urgent or emergency assistance.
Messages may be delayed, filtered, or undelivered because of network, device, or carrier conditions. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If a requested link does not arrive, contact the practice for assistance.
Messages may link to scheduling, patient, or insurance-verification platforms used by the practice. Those platforms have their own terms and privacy policies. Review them before submitting information.
We may update these SMS Terms by publishing revised terms on this page. Material changes to the messaging purpose will require any additional consent that applies; a policy update does not expand the scope of your existing consent.
