Psychiatry for Adults in Los Angeles County

Telehealth psychiatric care for adults across Los Angeles County — from Downtown and Pasadena to Long Beach, the South Bay, and the San Gabriel Valley — with the diagnostic depth that complex cases deserve.

Psychiatry without the drive

Los Angeles County is enormous, and so is the gap between demand for psychiatric care and timely access to it. The MindCounsel sees adults anywhere in the county by secure video, which means no fighting traffic on the 101 or the 405, no waiting room, and appointments that fit around work and family. Optional in-person visits are available by request at the practice's Corona office for patients in the eastern part of the county.

Our focus: getting the diagnosis right

The practice was built around a specific problem — patients whose treatment has not worked the way it should. If you have cycled through medications, carry diagnoses that conflict, or have never felt your diagnosis quite fit, our diagnostic clarification and second-opinion evaluations are designed for you.

Insurance and cost

California appointments are booked through Headway, which verifies your benefits automatically before the first visit. Accepted plans include Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Oxford & Oscar, Anthem Blue Cross, and Carelon Behavioral Health. Self-pay is available if you prefer.

Who you will see

You will work directly with Dr. Reginald Casilang, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC — a dual board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner. The same clinician handles your evaluation, your plan, and your follow-up.
