Psychiatric Care for UnitedHealthcare QUEST Members in Hawaiʻi

Telehealth psychiatry for adults with UnitedHealthcare Community Plan QUEST in Hawaiʻi — in-network, available statewide across all islands, with no referral needed to schedule.

UnitedHealthcare QUEST and mental health care

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan is one of the health plans serving Hawaiʻi’s QUEST Integration program (Med-QUEST, Hawaiʻi’s Medicaid program). The MindCounsel is in-network with UnitedHealthcare Community Plan QUEST Integration, so eligible members can be seen for psychiatric care in network.

Dr. Casilang is dual board-certified in psychiatric-mental health and family medicine, so evaluations include a medical lens — thyroid, sleep, and medication interactions that can mimic or worsen mood and attention symptoms — rather than a checklist alone.

What UnitedHealthcare QUEST members can be seen for

Care includes adult ADHD evaluation in Hawaiʻi, psychiatric medication management, anxiety and depression treatment, diagnostic clarification, second opinions, and medication reassessment for members transferring existing care. Eligibility, authorization, and covered services depend on your specific QUEST plan.

Telehealth across the islands

Visits take place by secure video from a private space of your choosing — Honolulu, Kailua, Kapolei, Pearl City, Aiea, Kaneohe, Waipahu, Ewa Beach, Mililani, Hilo, Maui, Kauaʻi, and other communities — with optional in-person visits in Honolulu when appropriate. See the Oʻahu, Maui, Big Island, and Kauaʻi pages for island-specific details.

Confirming your benefits

Because QUEST benefits vary by plan, the most reliable way to confirm behavioral-health and telehealth coverage is to call UnitedHealthcare Community Plan member services at the number on the back of your card. Useful questions: Is telehealth psychiatry covered? Is there a copay or visit limit? Is a referral or authorization required? Participation with a plan is not a guarantee of coverage for any individual service.
